Fancying Spurs to win the Prem in the near future? There’s value here

An end of season collapse from Tottenham Hotspur last year allowed Leicester City to run away with the Premier League title. This year, Chelsea have dominated almost from the word go, but Spurs have been their nearest challengers.
Long story short, a title could well be on its way fairly soon.
At least, that’s what our traders reckon. They’re offering 11/8 about Mauricio Pochettino’s men lifting the Premier League trophy in the next five seasons (inclusive of this campaign).
And you’d have to say, that’s pretty generous given Spurs’ form over the last couple of seasons.
No side has lost fewer than the North London outfit in 2016-17. That’s not just in the top-flight, we’re talking about the top four tiers of English football.
They’re unbeaten at home this year too. Added to that, Spurs have the fourth best defensive record in the top five leagues in Europe, behind only Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus and Bayern Munich.
Quite simply, those are the kind of statistics you’d associate with champions.
Better still, Pochettino’s side are only improving.
Sixth in 2013-14. Fifth in 2014-15. Third in 2015-16. Surely they’re going to finish in at least second-place this season. Keep going at that rate and there’ll be just one more position to occupy.
It looks as though the only thing which could hold the Londoners back on this quest is their stadium move. As Spurs fans have seen in recent years across North London, it’s hard to sustain a genuine title challenge while trying to balance the books after a change of location.
But they’ve shown over the last two years that they don’t necessarily have to go out and add much more to this side to push on – and youth is most definitely on their side, with Spurs boasting some of the most exciting youngsters in English football in their ranks.
The key, then, is keeping hold of said players. Do that, and we reckon punters will be cashing in on this bet – possibly even with a couple of years to spare.
