Man City v Leicester: Expect an entertaining affair at the Etihad

Saturday’s Premier League action gets underway in the North-West where Manchester City host Leicester City, and we fancy it to be a cracking contest.

While the Foxes have erased all thoughts of relegation and are now heading for a steady top-10 finish, the Citizens must keep on winning in the race for the top-four.

Arsenal and Liverpool could still oust Pep Guardiola’s side, but we make the hosts 2/11 favourites for a crucial win this weekend.

Craig Shakespeare’s Leicester have won seven of their last 10 league games, but they’re long outsiders at 10/1 here thanks to a dismal away record of two wins.

That won’t stop them bringing plenty to the party though, and it’s no surprise to see over 3.5 goals odds-on at 10/11.

City have lost just one of their last 14 league games – to table-topping Chelsea – but six draws indicates how far Guardiola’s side still have to go.

But though they lost at Leicester in December – as well as in this fixture last year – we can’t see a third defeat this weekend.

A Man City win and over 3.5 goals looks appealing at 5/4, as does City to win and both teams to score at 29/20.

And with Leicester losing the first-half in 11 of their 18 away games, it’s 4/5 for City on the Half-Time/Full-Time.

Gabriel Jesus has produced one assist and one goal in his last two starts, and is 14/5 to break the deadlock.

Sergio Aguero is also a 14/5 shot to net the opener, but we fancy plenty will be backing Jamie Vardy anytime at 11/5.

The England ace scored a hat-trick in the 4-2 win over City in December, and heads into this clash with seven goals and three assists in his last ten league games.
