Rangers legend 6/5 to return to Ibrox in stunning Summer move

Published:

Rangers defender Lee Hodson has gone on record today saying “it would be nice” to see Kyle Lafferty return to Ibrox. And he could get his wish very soon, with the bookies making it even-money for the Northern Irishman to return to Govan.

The former Gers forward has been open about his exit from Rangers being the “biggest regret” of his career.

But with the 30-year-old having now parted ways with Norwich City, and Pedro Caixinha reportedly keen on his signature, a move could well be on the cards. In fact, it’s 6/5 he joins the club as soon as this summer.

And there’s little doubt the former Canaries man would be an excellent addition to the Gers squad.

During four years with the club from 2008-2012, the versatile attacker scored 36 times and chalked up 19 assists in 134 games, picking up three league winner’s medals along the way.

Despite a lack of game-time at club level since joining Norwich in 2014, there’s little chance his powers have faded – as his form for Northern Ireland proves.

He netted six times en route to Euro 2016 for Michael O’Neill’s side, and has already registered three times in qualification for World Cup 2018.

With the player seemingly desperate for a Rangers reunion, and no fee required to bring him home, this would surely represent a stellar piece of business from Pedro Caixinha.
