Alvaro Morata now just 1/10 to join Man United this summer

Manchester United have already secured one summer signing in Victor Lindelof, and now Jose Mourinho is set to announce another – Alvaro Morata.

A deal between the Red Devils and Real Madrid looks all-but complete.

That’s a view our traders certainly take, with 1/10 now the price for the forward to switch to Old Trafford.

With Zlatan Ibrahimovic unlikely to be given a new contract, Mourinho needs a new star man up front.

Morata made 43 appearances for Real last term, claiming a La Liga and Champions League double.

But he has failed to land a consistent role in Zinedine Zidane’s starting XI, losing out to Isco for much of the season.

Despite failing to land a starting role week-in week-out, Morata excelled last term with 20 goals in all competitions.

And with 15 goals from just 26 La Liga appearances, the forward was one of the most clinical in the division with a goal every 89 minutes.

Just 12 months away from the World Cup, Morata can’t afford to spend another season in a bit-part role if he wants to appear for Spain next summer.

Valued at £34m by transfermarkt.co.uk. it’s believed United are set to sign the 24-year-old for £60m.

The Red Devils had also been interested in Torino’s Andrea Belotti, but the Serie A hitman’s £87m release clause proved a touch too high.

And if you still don’t think the deal is going ahead, then check out this little clue on social media…
