Greece odds

The race to Russia sparks back into life this weekend, with a full program of World Cup 2018 qualifiers. And with the action coming thick and fast, we’re putting together a fantastic fivefold accumulator for each night of international football.

So, what’s on the agenda for Friday night’s acca, a 22.5/1 shot which we’re hoping will see fans across the land – and the Ladbrokes News team – celebrating a great start to the weekend.

Sweden v France – Both Teams to Score @ 11/10

This one looks set to be something of a blockbuster, as the top two in Group A meet in Stockholm. Whoever comes out on top, goals look a certainty. The Swedes have netted in all of their last nine games, while Didier Deschamps’ men have netted eight goals in their last three outings.

Oh, and both sides scored in the reverse fixture – a 2-1 victory for Les Bleus in November’s meeting.

Latvia v Portugal – Andre Silva to score anytime @ 5/6

Latvia fans are a resilient bunch. They have to be. Aleksandrs Starkovs’ side have lost each of their last five games, and won’t improve that run against the Euro 2016 winners. Especially when Portugal have players of Silva’s quality, with the Porto ace netting six goals in his last half-dozen outings for the national side.

Estonia v Belgium – Belgium to Win @ 2/15

A banker to top off this acca, all the signs point to the visitors winning in Tallinn. Roberto Martinez’s charges won the reverse fixture by a whopping 8-1 scoreline, netting 22 goals in five qualifying games so far. As for Sinisargid, their last competitive game saw them fail to score against Cyprus. This is only going one way…

Faroe Islands v Switzerland – Faroes +2 @ 27/20

Having well and truly shaken off their ‘minnows’ tag in recent years, the Faroes are continuing to impress in this World Cup campaign, keeping three clean sheets in five qualifying games so far. Admittedly Switzerland are decent on their travels, but rarely win an away game by more than a single goal.

Bosnia and Herzegovina v Greece – Both Teams to Score @ 13/10

The Euro 2004 winners have impressed away from home in recent times, scoring in each of the last five matches on their travels. As for Bosnia, they’ve netted in four consecutive games, including a 2-1 victory over Albania last time out. Oh, and both of the last two clashes between this pair have seen both sides score.
