Man United just 11/8 to bring Ronaldo back to Old Trafford

| 16.06.2017

Brace yourselves, Manchester United fans. Cristiano Ronaldo may be coming home.

That’s the stunning verdict from our trading team, who make it just 11/8 for the Portuguese to return to Old Trafford after eight years with Real Madrid.

The 32-year-old has reportedly told Los Blancos he wants to leave this summer and that the decision is ‘irreversible’. There’s 6/4 on offer for him to wave goodbye to the Bernabeu this summer, with 9/4 for the Madeira native to head back to England.

However, that latter price basically just means a reunion with the Red Devils, with no other Premier League side currently in the running for the man who spent six seasons in M16.

But United aren’t the only club with a realistic shot at snapping up the four-time Ballon d’Or winner.

Paris Saint-Germain are 2/1 to add Ronaldo to their ranks, with 5/2 on offer he leaves La Liga to join any Chinese Super League outfit.

Meanwhile, it’s 7/1 for a switch to MLS, while 10/1 says he snubs Jose Mourinho’s men, to return to another former club…Sporting Lisbon.

A Ladbrokes spokesperson said: “The news Man United fans have dreamed of could be just around the corner, with a possible homecoming for Old Trafford’s prodigal son.”
