Plucky punter on for £1m payout should Royal Ascot bet come in

A plucky Royal Ascot punter could win a staggering £1m this afternoon if Bound For Nowhere wins the Commonwealth Cup.
The shop customer from Dunstable, Bedfordshire, placed an accumulator bet with a total stake of £40 at the start of the week on Lady Aurelia, Barney Roy, Qemah, Highland Reel, Coronet, Big Orange, and Bound To Nowhere.
With the first six selections all coming in, the customer’s hopes of becoming a millionaire rest on the shoulders of the Wesley Ward-trained 8/1 shot in this afternoon’s race at 15:40.
Nicola McGeady of Ladbrokes said: “This punter has made incredible predictions already and today his hopes of becoming a millionaire all comes down to one horse, Bound To Nowhere.”
