Real Madrid 7/4 to replace Alvaro Morata with Tottenham’s Harry Kane

Tottenham Hotspur could be set lose yet another huge name to Real Madrid, according to the latest odds.

With Alvaro Morata edging closer to a move away from the Bernabeu, Harry Kane has seen his odds of heading to the La Liga giants slashed to just 7/4.

It won’t be the first time Real have stolen one of Spurs’ top men, with Luka Modric and Gareth Bale making the same move in recent times.

They’re some way ahead of Man United (5/1), Chelsea (6/1) and Man City (8/1) in the race for the striker’s signature, while local rivals Arsenal are huge 20/1 outsiders to seal a deal.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “Spurs fans may be bracing themselves for a nail-biting summer as talk of a Morata exit intensifies in Madrid.

“Were he to make a move, it may be a case of when, and not if, Kane replaces him in the Spanish capital.”

Should Kane move this summer, he’ll do so as a two-time Premier League Golden Boot winner, having fired in a stunning 75 Premier League goals last season.

That included a sensational return of 29 goals from just 30 appearances last term.
