Manchester United and Manchester City in Champions Cup action

Published:

The penultimate round of International Champions Cup fixtures takes place tonight across the pond, and we’ve had a look at where the best value lies on the pre-season markets.

With Manchester United, Manchester City, Real Madrid and Barcelona all in action, it’s sure to be another night of bumper competition…

Barcelona v Manchester United

We kick things off at 00:30BST when Spanish giants Barcelona face Manchester United at FedEx Field, Maryland.

Jose Mourinho’s men will be eager to continue their impressive pre-season form, and with goals throughout the team, we think 9/2 on a Man Utd Win and Both Teams to Score is the one to go for.

Romelu Lukaku will also be eager to bag his first goal in a United shirt against European opposition, and at 6/1 with our traders, we figure he’s worth a shot.

In terms of match odds, we have Barcelona as the favourites at 23/10, while the draw is 27/10 and a United win is available at a generous 5/2.

Paris Saint Germain v Juventus

The Hard Rock Stadium is the location for this tasty encounter between two teams that will have their eyes on the Champions League at the end of the season.

There should be plenty of attacking talent on display in Miami, with Paulo Dybala, Gonzalo Higuan and Edison Cavani all expected to feature. And with that in mind, we like the Draw and Both Teams to Score market in this one at 16/5.

Both teams are yet to taste victory on their respective US road trips and we fancy the two evenly matched sides to cancel each other out.

If you like something a bit different, though, it might be worth backing PSG to score first between 31-40 minutes at 8/1. In their two games so far the Parisians have scored three goals, two of which have come in the 36th minute.

We make Juventus the slight favourites for the game overall at 5/4, with PSG available at 15/8. The draw is 12/5.

Manchester City v Real Madrid

In a nice change from fighting one another on the frontline of the transfer market, Man City and Real Madrid go head-to-head in Los Angeles.

Both sides have bags of firepower and we fancy Gabriel Jesus to score anytime in the contest at 7/5. The diminutive forward didn’t start in the Manchester derby on Sunday and will be eager to get on the scoresheet against Los Blancos.

Another player tempting in the goals market is Gareth Bale. The Welshman netted twice against City in his time with Tottenham, and we have him at 23/10 to repeat the feat here.

With both sides looking for their first Champions Cup success, surely something has to give. We have Madrid the favourites at Evens, the draw at 27/10 and value with a Man City win, handsomely priced at 11/5.
