Rangers 8/11 to beat Celtic in the Prem; 150/1 for Ibrox perfection

| 03.08.2017

Rangers’ Europa League tilt may have ended in disappointment, but the Ibrox club are now firmly gearing up for the Ladbrokes Premiership campaign – and following an exciting revamp of the Gers’ ranks, many are tipping them for success this term.

And our odds-crunchers have produced a flurry of season specials on the Govan outfit.

First up, they’re backing Rangers to knock off Celtic’s ‘Invincibles’ tag, with 8/11 available for Caixinha’s side to beat the Hoops in the league.

Meanwhile, there’s 12/1 about the Gers finishing the Premiership campaign unbeaten against their Old Firm rivals.

Having taken 38 points from 19 home league outings last term, the Teddy Bears had one of the division’s strongest home records. And ambitious fans of the 54-time Scottish champions can back them to win every game at Ibrox at odds of 150/1.

However, there’s an even longer shot available for the most optimistic of supporters, with 250/1 about the club lifting the treble in 2017-18 – a feat the club have managed seven times in their history, most recently in 2003.

One man looking to fire them to glory will be new signing Alfredo Morelos, who can be backed at 20/1 to finish the season as top Premiership scorer. Alongside him will be the evergreen Kenny Miller, who is 25/1 after netting 11 league goals last term.

The Gers are 8/1 second-favourites to lift the Prem trophy come May, and begin their campaign with Sunday’s visit to Fir Park, where the Glasgow giants are 8/13 to defeat Motherwell.
