Sheffield Utd, Millwall & Bolton 22/1 to ALL win on Opening Weekend

| 04.08.2017

The Championship’s opening weekend kicks off with Derby County’s visit to Sunderland on Friday night, and our odds-crunchers are so excited for its return that they’ve produced a flurry of exclusive specials on the action!

Interestingly, they make it just 22/1 for ALL of newly-promoted trio Sheffield United, Millwall and Bolton Wanderers to enjoy the perfect start to life in the second tier.

That’s shorter than the price for each of the sides relegated from the Premier League to win, with 25/1 about each of Middlesbrough, Hull City and Sunderland tasting victory.

Punters in the capital could be keen on the 66/1 on every London club to win, with Queens Park Rangers, Millwall, Brentford and Fulham representing the city.

Meanwhile, there’s a whopping 280/1 on offer for every Midlands club to win – a bet which could bring fans of Derby County and Nottingham Forest to cheer one another’s fortunes on.

And if that’s not enough of a local long-shot, there’s 620/1 available for all six of the division’s Yorkshire clubs to rack up maximum points this weekend.

For those predicting goals, goals, goals, we’re offering a juicy 25/1 on three of the division’s top marksmen to begin with a bang, in the form of Chris Wood, Britt Assombalonga, and Scott Hogan.

However, it’s Fulham fans who the bookies think will be cheering loudest after matchday one, with the Cottagers 6/1 favourites to top the table after opening weekend, with Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest 7/1 shots.

A Ladbrokes spokesperson said: “We’re not ruling out a stellar start for the division’s newly-promoted sides, while the bookies could be paying out a sizeable sum if the league’s top strikers have their shooting boots on.”
