BREAKING: Hodgson just 1/5 to succeed De Boer at Crystal Palace

Published:

Frank de Boer lasted just four Premier League games in the Crystal Palace hotseat. And having been relieved of his duties at Selhurst Park this morning it’s Roy Hodgson who’s emerged as the red-hot favourite to succeed the Dutchman.

Our odds-compilers make the former England gaffer just 1/5 to take up the now-vacant post.

Neil Warnock is fancied next in the betting at 8/1, while double figures are on offer for the likes of Roberto Mancini (12/1), Rafa Benitez (12/1) and Sam Allardyce (14/1) heading to South London.

Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: “A return to the limelight for Roy Hodgson is looking increasingly likely and it’s long odds-on he’s heading for Selhurst Park very soon.”
