ITV Racing Tips: Clubbable set to smash the field at Doncaster

The St Leger Festival really roars into action at Doncaster on Thursday with a quartet of exciting races live on ITV4.

There are two Group 2 contests to get stuck into, including a fascinating dual between Natural Scenery and Sweet Selection in the Park Hill Stakes.

We’ve also got a pair of 6f sprints to whet the appetite on what promises to be an exciting day of action on Town Moor

Let’s get going with our look through the card…

NAP – Clubbable – 13:50, Doncaster

After nailing our last two NAPs at Kempton and Sandown, we’re going for the hat-trick at Doncaster.

It’s Richard Fahey’s charge that gets the nod for this Nursery Handicap.

The two year-old filly may still be looking to chalk up her first win, but she’s shown immense promise in her four starts so far.

She finished a close second to Magic Jazz in a Class 2 at handicap last time out.

And her opponents today are all exposed at this level.

Her owner won this contest last year with Glitter Girl, and with Clubbable they look to have another progressive filly on their hands.

NB – Nyaleti – 14:25, Doncaster

A little disappointing in Group 1 company at Deauville recently, but she still has the best form in the race.

However, Mark Johnston’s two-year-old does have a black type success to her name.

She got to the front early on to land the Princess Margaret Juddmonte Stakes by 5l at Ascot in July.

Her competitors don’t boast the same level of form or class and that could be telling.

Nyaleti can handle the ground, and if she can lead from the front and get the trip, this race could be a foregone conclusion.

Lively Longshot – Magic Jazz – 15:35, Doncaster

Despite the long-odds, we think Magic Jazz can grab a place in this 22-runner 6f sprint.

The progressive gelding heads into this on the back of a double at Hamilton, where he excelled on the soft ground.

It may be difficult for him to complete the hat-trick at Doncaster, but a place finish is certainly not out of the question.
