Ladbrokes News Acca: Preston, Cardiff and Oxford star in 66/1 five-fold
Published:
The weekend is upon us, and with it comes a full-on dose of fine football.
And the Ladbrokes News Team are back with another tasty five-fold.
Each member of the team has chosen one selection each, coming together to form an appealing acca.
But with several Premier League games a little too close to call this weekend, we’re looking a little further down the football pyramid this time around…
Richard Marsh
Notts County to beat Lincoln
I can’t get my head around this. Notts County have won four on the spin and sit second, seven points above Lincoln.
Kevin Nolan’s side are at home, and boast plenty of quality and experience in Alan Smith and Jon Stead.
The Imps are going well, but they shouldn’t be 8/5 favourites here. County look irresistible as the 9/5 outsiders.
William Geldart
Oxford United to beat Walsall
Hopefully this one won’t prove to be the proverbial coupon buster. On paper, there looks to be little danger of Oxford putting a spanner in the works. The U’s are unbeaten in their last six league games at the Kassam Stadium, winning four of those contests.
Meanwhile, Walsall have won just two of their opening eight League One games this term and those were at home to lowly Oldham Athletic and Plymouth Argyle respectively.
The Saddlers are also absolutely rank on the road. Incredibly, the Midlands outfit’s last away win came against soon-to-be relegated Port Vale on Boxing Day last year. If anything, the 20/23 for an Oxford win could appear to be too generous come 17:00 on Saturday.
Cian Carroll
Preston North End to beat Millwall
On the face of it, Preston to beat Millwall at even-money is a steal.
Alex Neil’s team have had a cracking start to the season, currently up in fourth place. They’ve won three and drawn one of their four league games at Deepdale.
Millwall have yet to win away in the league this term, with two losses and two draws. PNE are highly-backable.
Daniel Anwar
Cardiff City to beat Sunderland
Cardiff haven’t been in great form recently. But Saturday’s game against Sunderland is a great chance to turn things around.
The Black Cats are without a win in five and haven’t won at home so far this season. Expect their misery to continue with a Cardiff away win at 6/4.
Nick Murphy
Accrington Stanley to beat Cheltenham
Stanley have started the season superbly and currently sit in third place, with three wins from their four home games.
Meanwhile, Cheltenham are 21st and still winless on the road. All signs points towards an Accrington home win at 23/20.
So, there we go. Our five-fold acca comes in at an unmissable 66/1!
If you fancy it, you can back it right here.
