Manchester City are now the odds-on favourites to win the Premier League after a stunning 5-0 victory against Crystal Palace at the weekend.

The Citizens have now hit 23 goals in their last five games and sit top of the table on 16 points.

They’re 10/11 to continue their march and claim a first Premier League title for Pep Guardiola.

Such an impressive start to the season has got us thinking.

Could City emulate Arsenal’s invincibles and go the season unbeaten?

If you think they can our traders have priced up the Sky Blues at 14/1 to repeat the feat.

To put that into context, Shakhtar Donetsk are the same odds to pull off a shock victory at the Etihad Stadium in this week’s Champions League clash.

After such an impressive opening to the season for Guardiola’s men, it’s certainly worth a shout.

Their main competition for the title and invincible glory comes from cross-city rivals Manchester United.

The Red Devils have played second fiddle in the title betting to City so far and have drifted slightly from 11/5 to 13/5 to win the league.

It’s Crystal Palace up next for United in the league before a trip to Liverpool after the international break.

With a favourable fixture at Old Trafford on the horizon for Jose Mourinho’s men the 33/1 available on an unbeaten season for the red half of Manchester could begin to shorten very quickly.

Elsewhere, Chelsea remain third favourites at 5/1 for their second successive title win.

Tottenham Hotspur (16/1) and Liverpool (20/1) then follow before Arsenal who are 33/1 shots.
