Speculation is reaching fever pitch and the racing world is getting just a little bit excited about the possibility of seeing wonder mare Winx race on English shores.
The Australian superstar is enjoying an incredible 20-race unbeaten run and our odds-compilers make it a 3/1 shot that she takes the spoils in any Royal Ascot race next year.
Trainer Chris Waller has come out and said that a trip to Europe is still a very real possibility with the Royal meeting a natural target.
No decision will made until March 2018 but that hasn’t stopped our traders pricing up the daughter of Street Cry for a UK success.
However, the Ladbrokes Cox Plate is on Winx’s more immediate agenda with 1/2 offered about her notching a hat-trick of renewal victories next month.
Nicola McGeady of Ladbrokes said: “It would be amazing if Winx showed up at Royal Ascot next year and although we make her 3/1 to win any race at the Royal meeting now, she would soon become odds-on if plans to come over were confirmed.”
