Everton boss Koeman just 6/4 to exit during international break

Everton boss Ronald Koeman has been given the dreaded ‘vote of confidence’ by the club’s majority shareholder Farhad Moshiri. And our traders think that could spell the end for the Dutchman on Merseyside.

The Toffees’ boss is now head of the Premier League Sack Race betting at 4/7, following a run of just two wins from 10 games in all competitions.

Meanwhile, there’s 6/4 for the club to part company with the 54-year-old during the current international break.

Despite nominally getting the board’s backing, our odds-crunchers fancy the former Southampton boss could be nearing the end of his time at Goodison Park. In fact, it’s just 1/5 for Koeman to exit L4 before the season ends.

Meanwhile, it’s even-money that he’s no longer Toffees manager once Christmas rolls around.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “Koeman’s spent big and is failing to deliver, so it’s easy to see why all the odds are pointing towards an imminent exit – and we might just have seen the Dutch gaffer in the Goodison Park dugout for the last time.”

If he does survive this international break, the Zaandam native’s future could hang on next Sunday’s visit to Brighton & Hove Albion, where Everton are 13/10 to bag a much-needed victory.
