The best bets for Wednesday’s Last 16 Carabao Cup games

The final two ties in the Round of 16 Carabao Cup take place on Wednesday evening. And they’re a pair of all-Premier League clashes we should look forward to.
Chelsea host Everton at Stamford Bridge while Tottenham Hotspur host West Ham in a London derby at Wembley.
They are two intriguing clashes for a number of reasons. We break down the games and select our best bets.
Chelsea v Everton
Ronald Koeman was relieved of his duties at Goodison Park this week after a disastrous start to the campaign.
David Unsworth steps up from the Under-23s to take charge and has a job on his hands to get his troops through to the next round.
One major issue – among many others – for the ex-Toffees defender to address is the fact that Everton haven’t won at Stamford Bridge since 1994.
With that knowledge, the 4/9 on Chelsea looks a banker. Antonio Conte will likely rotate with a number of players getting game-time.
Michy Batshuayi, Willian, and Charly Musonda could all start for the Blues. Batshuayi scored two in the comeback win over Watford and is 19/20 to find the net here.
The Chelsea defence has been leaky recently, though. They have conceded at least once in their last four home games.
The Toffees may find a bit of new manager bounce so Both Teams To Score at 5/6 looks worth a bet.
Tottenham v West Ham
Slaven Bilic is on a very sticky wicket at West Ham. A horrendous 3-0 defeat at London Stadium in front of the live TV cameras did the Croatian few favours.
Despite the Hammers’ owners sticking by him, another bad defeat in this derby could spell the end.
That’s why we reckon the East London outfit could put it up to their city neighbours at Wembley.
Spurs and West Ham generally play out quite entertaining affairs so the 4/6 on Both Teams To Score looks nailed-on.
However, the Hammers’ away form has been shoddy this term, winning just once on the road at Cheltenham.
Mauricio Pochettino will rotate in a few positions with Harry Kane likely to be rested. The Argentine has decent strength-in-depth, though.
Son Heung-min or Fernando Llorente could start up top here and both are worth an Anytime Goalscorer punt.
But Spurs to win and Over 2.5 Goals looks the main play at 21/20.
