Clement and Pulis leading the way in Prem Sack Race

Published:

Paul Clement could be the next Premier League manager to leave his post, according to our football traders.

The Swansea City boss has seen his odds slashed from 16/1 to just 2/1 in the Sack Race following Slaven Bilic’s exit from West Ham.

The Swans are currently second bottom and have lost their last three consecutive league games.

Tony Pulis is next in the betting at 4/1 ahead of Antonio Conte at 7/1.

Jose Mourinho’s odds of being the next boss to leave have been cut from 25/1 to 16/1 after being linked with the Paris Saint-Germain job earlier this week.

And as things stand, Pep Guardiola and Mauricio Pochettino are the safest men in the league right now, with 80/1 on offer for both bosses in the Sack Race market.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “Four managers have already been sent packing in the top-flight this season and if the current market is anything to go by, it won’t be long before Clement becomes the fifth.”
