Ladbrokes News Acca: Newcastle, Forest and Norwich head up 40/1 punt

The weekend is upon us once more, and that means it’s time for another go at a victorious accumulator.

The Ladbrokes News crew have cast their eyes over Saturday’s 15:00 schedule.

As ever, each member of the team has chosen one W-D-W selection and this week the focus is on the Premier League and the Championship.

Here’s who we like the look of…

Richard Marsh

Norwich to beat Bolton

Norwich City are a funny old team. The Canaries are winless in five at Carrow Road – scoring only twice.

But away from home it’s five wins from five.  Those victories have come against quality opposition too in Reading, Middlesbrough, Brentford, Ipswich Town and high-flying Sheffield United.

On that basis, Daniel Farke’s side should ease past relegation candidates Bolton Wanderers. The 21/10 on another away win for the yellow and greens is too good to pass up.

Miguel Assuncao

Nottingham Forest to beat QPR

Nottingham Forest have never lost at home to Queens Park Rangers and will fancy their chances of extending that record this weekend.

Mark Warburton’s men have won their last two at home and welcome a Rangers side who haven’t won on their travels all season.

You can back the City Ground outfit to win at 11/8.

Cian Carroll

Aston Villa to beat Sheffield Wednesday

Aston Villa had a superb win in midweek, comfortably dispatching a decent Preston North End side at Deepdale 2-0.

Sheffield Wednesday have won just once away all season and have lost their last three on the bounce away from Hillsborough.

Steve Bruce’s Villans have won their last three at Villa Park and have lost just twice at home in the Championship all season. 11/10 looks a bit of value.

Dave Burin

Derby to beat Reading

Derby County go into Saturday’s home game against Reading on the back of four successive victories.

Having seen off Nottingham Forest and Sheffield Wednesday with 2-0 wins apiece in their last two home games, relegation-threatened Reading should pose few problems.

With Derby also having taken eight points from the last four Head-to-Heads, they look good value for the win at 4/5.

Daniel Anwar

Newcastle United to beat Bournemouth

Tottenham Hotspur are the only away side to leave St. James’ Park with three points since April.

Bournemouth have lost all but one of their away games this season and look set to leave empty-handed.

Newcastle United look good value then at 19/20, especially as Josh King may not be fit to start for the Cherries.

So, there we go. Our five-fold acca comes in at a tasty 40/1!
