Tuesday’s Premier League bets: Tottenham and Man United in action

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino is enjoying greater success in the Europa League this season

There are four games to get stuck into on Tuesday night as the Premier League gears up for its first midweek action of the season.

The evening kicks-off with Brighton & Hove Albion v Crystal Palace and Leicester City v Tottenham Hotspur at 19:45.

Then Watford v Manchester United and West Bromwich Albion v Newcastle United get underway at 20:00.

We’ve crunched the numbers to bring you the best bets from those four games…

Brighton & Hove Albion v Crystal Palace

We’re expecting Brighton to come out on top in what promises to be a fiery clash between two historic rivals. The Seagulls have lost just once at home all season. By contrast, Palace have lost six from six on the road.

Chris Hughton’s side are 8/5 to collect all three points.

However, we think it could be worth enhancing those odds to 3/1 by backing Brighton to Win to Nil.

The Eagles haven’t scored away from home all season and will likely struggle again on the South Coast.

Leicester City v Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham are unbeaten at the King Power Stadium in their last four visits, winning their last two.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side are a 3/4 chance to make it a hat-trick of wins against the Foxes on Tuesday.

With both sides also impressive in-front of goal, Both Teams to Score appears a near certainty at 7/10. England pair Jamie Vardy and Harry Kane are rated as 7/4 and 5/6 to find the back of the net anytime.

Watford v Manchester United

Manchester United have won 12 of their last 13 matches against Watford. They’re 4/6 to continue that run against a Hornets side who are 4/1 to nail consecutive home wins against the Red Devils.

Fixtures between the two sides tend to be dominated by goals. Eight of the last 10 head-to-head clashes have provided three or more goals. That makes Over 2.5 Goals the one to be on at 4/5.

Romelu Lukaku scored twice against the Hertfordshire side last season and is 16/5 to open the scoring in this one.

West Bromwich Albion v Newcastle United

These two sides have shared just 21 goals in 26 Premier League games so far this season. Both clubs will be eager to avoid defeat and that makes the draw an interesting selection at 2/1.

In-keeping with results so far this term, we think goals will be at a premium. You can get 8/5 on there being Under 1.5 Goals in the match.
