Chelsea v Atletico Madrid: There could be goals at the Bridge

Eden Hazard

Chelsea’s task is simple in Tuesday’s Champions League clash with Atletico Madrid.

The Blues have already secured their place in the knockout stages. If they beat Atletico or Roma fail to win against Qarabag, they’ll finish as Group C winners.

But Atletico can’t afford anything less than a win to keep their slim hopes of qualifying alive.

Chelsea are 23/20 to get all three points. Atletico are up against it at 12/5 with the draw at 9/4.

Diego Simeone’s side have only won one of their five European games this season. But they’re starting to hit form with five wins in their last six outings.

Chelsea have also won five of their last six. This is a tough one to call. But as Atletico need to go for it, Draw and Both Teams to Score looks tasty at 10/3.

The onus is on the Spanish side to take the initiative. That means 27/20 for Atletico to score first looks a good price.

The away side can’t afford to go gung-ho though. That would be reckless against Eden Hazard in his current form. He’s 7/4 to score Anytime.

Antoine Griezmann is the danger man for Atletico. Backing the French forward to score Anytime could pay off at 19/10.
