The January transfer window is almost upon us.

Some clubs will only make minor changes to keep things on track. Others will be looking for drastic changes to turn their season around.

We’re taking a look at what all 20 Premier League sides could be after in the January sales.

And Huddersfield Town are next up…

What they need

Huddersfield fans will be delighted with how the club have done so far, largely thanks to their home form. The high point so far was the impressive 2-1 win over Manchester United.

But David Wagner will be all too aware his side went seven away league games without winning recently.

More top-flight experience could make a real difference on the road.

Who they’re targeting

After spending £43m in the summer, there may not be a big budget for further additions.

Wagner has a settled side and may not want to rock the boat at this stage of the season either.

One player the Terriers have been linked with is Chelsea’s promising midfielder Kyle Scott. The Blues haven’t been able to tie the 20-year-old down to a new contract yet.

Who they might lose

West Bromwich Albion are reportedly considering a £5m move for Rajiv van La Parra.

The winger was in the manager’s bad books after being sent off after the final whistle against Manchester City.

He has made 14 appearances this season, so it would still be a surprise if he was allowed to leave.

Final thought

Huddersfield look on track to avoid the drop currently but can’t afford to be complacent. A few bad results could see them drawn right into the relegation battle.

One or two smart signings could add the know-how they currently lack.
