Chelsea v Arsenal: Expect action in cup semi-final

Eden Hazard odds

Chelsea and Arsenal meet again just one week after their 2-2 thriller at the Emirates Stadium. But this time, there’s a place in the Carabao Cup final up for grabs.

The Blues host the first-leg and they’re 7/10 favourites. Arsenal team are 4/1 to take a lead into the return fixture.

However, it could be worth backing the draw at 3/1. The three previous clashes between the two teams this season have ended in a stalemate after 90 minutes.

You’d expect the two sides to keep things tight here with a second-leg to come. But there’s been Over 2.5 Goals in four of the last six games against each other. It’s 7/10 to happen again this time.

Both teams are likely to field a starting XI that’s close to full strength. But Arsenal will be without several key players, including Laurent Koscielny, Nacho Monreal and potentially Mesut Ozil too.

That means Danny Welbeck and Rob Holding could keep their places despite poor displays in last weekend’s shock 4-2 defeat to Nottingham Forest.

After his horror show at the Emirates last week, Alvaro Morata will be looking to make amends. He’s 7/2 to score First. You can also get Alvaro Morata to score and Chelsea to win at 9/4.

Eden Hazard tends to like facing Arsenal. He’s struck in three of their last five visits to Stamford Bridge. The Belgian ace is 6/4 to score Anytime.

For the away side, Alexandre Lacazette is 6/1 to open the scoring. For all the speculation over his future, it wouldn’t be much of a surprise if Alexis Sanchez turned up with a goal Anytime either at 23/10.
