Edmund 6/1 for Grand Slam by 2020; 20/1 to win this year’s SPOTY

Kyle Edmund is his shortest odds ever to win a Grand Slam before the end of 2020, following his continued great form in this year’s Australian Open.

The 23-year-old pulled off a shock win over world number three Grigor Dimitrov in the quarter-finals, setting up a semi against Marin Cilic.

The Brit is now 9/1 to go all the way and lift the Aussie Open crown. Meanwhile, our traders make it a 6/1 shot the up-and-coming Edmund has his hands on a Grand Slam title by the end of 2020.

His recent rise has been meteoric, and our trading team aren’t ruling him out altogether in the 2018 Sports Personality of the Year stakes – with 20/1 to win the gong.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “Edmund has been ace Down Under up to this point, and it’s a credit to the young Brit that he’s just 6/1 to claim any of the next 12 Grand Slams.”
