Premier League Picks: Leicester win & Man City rout among tips

Man City betting news

There are eight Premier League clashes on Saturday, and we’re bring you our best bets – which we’re hoping will leave you on cloud nine if you back them.

Here are our tips on the action, kicking off with the Cherries’ trip to face David Moyes’ resurgent Hammers…

Manchester City v Newcastle United

In recent times, no side have felt the wrath of the Citizens more than Newcastle. The last four Premier League meetings at the Etihad have all seen City win by four goals or more.

In the head-to-head record, Man City have won 13 of the last 14 clashes – seven of those coming with a clean sheet. Man City to Win to Nil is a 19/20 shot, with the City -3 handicap available at 11/5.

Arsenal v Crystal Palace

The pair’s last meeting ended with a thrilling 3-2 victory for the Gunners in SE19. That result meant five of the last seven clashes have seen both sides find the net. A repeat of Both Teams to Score is 8/11.

Midfielder Luka Milivojevic has played a key part in helping the Eagles soar from relegation favourites to mid-table outfit. He’s scored in three of his last eight outings, and is 5/1 to Score Anytime at the Emirates.

Brighton & Hove Albion v Chelsea

Each of the Blues’ last five games have been all-square after normal time. None of the last four have produced over two goals. A Draw and Under 2.5 Goals is available at 3/1.

The wily Glenn Murray has been a handful up front for the Seagulls, bagging two goals in his last three games – including a late winner against rivals Palace. He’s 16/5 to Net Anytime, while 9/1 says he’s the Last Goalscorer at the AMEX on Sat.

Leicester City v Watford

After a good start to the Prem campaign under boss Marco Silva, the Hornets have begun to stumble – losing four successive away games.

Leicester have won three of their last five at home. Leicester to Win is 5/6, but with four of the Foxes’ last five goals in all competitions coming after the break, we think Second-Half Result: Leicester could be the value bet at 11/10.

West Ham United v Bournemouth

Four of the last five meetings between these sides have produced four or more goals – with the pair’s Boxing Day clash ending 3-3.

Over 3.5 Goals looks good value at 11/5, while the Hammers’ strong form of late makes West Ham to Win and Both Teams to Score appealing at 29/10.

Marko Arnautovic bagged two goals in their last clash with Bournemouth, and is a backable 6/4 to Score Anytime.

Stoke City v Huddersfield Town

To put it kindly, this one probably won’t be a thriller.

The Potters have scored just once in four games across all competitions, while the Terriers have scored just eight goals in their 11 Premier League away games.

Both Teams to Score – No looks a safe bet at 4/5. Meanwhile, Under 1.5 Goals is a more ambitious 15/8.

With Mark Hughes’ men losing four games in a row, Huddersfield to Win to Nil is our lively longshot tip at 11/2.

Everton v West Bromwich Albion

The Toffees are another side struggling for form. Winless in six across all competitions, they’ve managed a measly two goals in that time.

As for the Baggies, they haven’t won away in the league since August.

Both Teams to Score – No looks pretty safe at 4/6, with a 0-0 draw the best-looking bet in the Correct Score market at 6/1.

Burnley v Manchester United

The Red Devils barely escaped with a point during their last meeting with the Clarets. But after three wins on the trot – without conceding a goal – they look likely to bag maximum points at Turf Moor.

Man United to Win and Under 2.5 Goals could prove popular at 11/5. Meanwhile, following his recent good form and Boxing Day brace against the Clarets, Jesse Lingard to Score Anytime seems a smart call at 19/10.
