Champions League best bets: Basel to test Man City, Juve to keep it tight

The return of the Champions League after a two-month break is one of the great highs of the annual football calendar.
There are few things as enjoyable as Europe’s elite going head to head in the knockout rounds.
Tuesday night’s last-16 ties see Basel host Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur travel to Turin to face Juventus.

What a game we have in store at the Juventus Stadium – last season’s UCL finalists up against Mauricio Pochettino’s Spurs.
Juve are Even-Money to win, with Tottenham at 3/1, and the Draw at 11/5.
Spurs have a monumental task to overcome in Turin. The Serie A champions have conceded just one goal in their last sixteen games in all competitions.
That amounts to a solitary concession in over 24 hours of game time – remarkable. Harry Kane is in tremendous form but can he top that?
Pochettino will know that, by keeping this a low-scoring affair, Spurs will remain in with a huge shout at Wembley in the return leg.
