Liverpool, Arsenal and Man United in chase for Real Madrid star Isco

Premier League rivals Liverpool and Manchester United could be set for a transfer battle this summer.

The duo have been strongly linked with a move for Real Madrid ace Isco and 4/11 says the forward’s next move takes him to the Prem.

Liverpool sold Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona for £110m last month, and have been linked with a number of players ever since.

Thomas Lemar of Monaco has also been touted for a move to Anfield, while Naby Keita will arrive in the summer.

Our traders make Liverpool 6/4 favourites to sign the Spanish international.

As for Man United, they are arguably still lacking top quality options in offensive areas.

Each of Anthony Martial, Jesse Lingard and Juan Mata are great on their day, but Isco’s arrival would up the ante at Old Trafford and it’s 3/1 to go through.

The 25-year-old has consistently struggled to land a starting berth under Zinedine Zidane at the Bernabeu.

Isco started only 18 league games last season. He’s started 14 times this term, but was left on the bench when it really mattered – El Clasico in December.

Real could be set for a summer overhaul too following a disastrous campaign so far.

This is unlikely to be a two-horse race, however.

Manchester City and Pep Guardiola are clearly still after another attacking midfield after failed bids for Alexis Sanchez and Riyad Mahrez.

The lure to join the Citizens is likely to be strong, but Isco would be up against an array of quality rivals for a spot in the first team. Isco is 11/2 to move to the Etihad.

Chelsea could be an option, although the current negative atmosphere around Stamford Bridge and the uncertainty over Antonio Conte’s future could prove a stumbling block.

Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur could be in the mix too, although a potential lack of Champions League football next season could be either of the north London duo’s downfall.

Our traders think the Gunners could be a likely destination however, with 9/5 the price for Isco to join Arsene Wenger’s side.
