Man United v Chelsea: Will Mourinho or Conte come out on top?

| 25.02.2018

Manchester United and Chelsea face each other at Old Trafford on Sunday in a game that could shape the race for the top four.

United currently sit in second, three points above fourth-placed Chelsea. But Jose Mourinho’s side have started to struggle just as Chelsea seem to be getting back into their stride.

Despite that, United have only lost one league game at home this season and are 5/4 favourites. Chelsea are 23/10 to get a crucial away win. They’ve got a great recent record against the Manchester club too, with only one loss in the last 14 clashes.

But Mourinho specialises in neutralising the opposition in these big games. And both managers will be determined to avoid defeat after their recent war of words. With that in mind, a draw is available at 11/5.

And the Draw and Under 2.5 Goals is 29/10 too.

If there is to be a winner, recent history suggests it’ll be to nil. Five of the previous seven encounters between these two have seen only one side score. Both Sides to Score – No is a 10/11 shot.

Alvaro Morata scored the only goal of the game when they met at Stamford Bridge in November. The Spaniard is 9/4 to score Anytime for the Blues this time around.

Romelu Lukaku is United’s likeliest scorer at 17/10. Alexis Sanchez is among the favourites at 19/10 too. The Chilean could really kick-start his United career with a goal here after a frustrating few weeks.
