Wilshere to Serie A: AC Milan & Juventus favs for Arsenal man

Jack Wilshere looks set for an exit from Arsenal this summer, and it’s two Serie A giants who are frontrunners for the 26-year-old’s signature.

The Gunners midfielder is out of contract this summer, and it’s 2/1 he makes the move to AC Milan. Wilshere impressed in the first leg of Arsenal’s Europa League tie with I Rossoneri, and another strong performance could see those odds falls.

As it stands, they’re narrow favourites ahead of Juventus at 11/4. If the Stevenage native stays in the Premier League, it’s likely that’ll be with 3/1 shots Newcastle United.

Meanwhile, there’s 4/1 for a switch to West Ham United. And rounding out the market are AFC Bournemouth at 6/1. Having already enjoyed a loan spell with the Cherries last term, our odds-crunchers aren’t ruling out a return.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “Once again Arsenal have left it late when it comes to contract negotiations and it looks likely they’ll lose Wilshere as a result when the transfer window opens.”
