2018 Grand National to spark £150m UK betting bonanza on Saturday

There’s no day in horse racing quite like Grand National Day.
And we’re predicting that over £150m in bets will be placed on the Aintree showpiece as Britons get set to mark their slips ahead of the 5:15pm off this Saturday.
Our traders are expecting a betting bonanza as punters pile into favourites including Tiger Roll (8/1), Total Recall (10/1) and Blaklion (10/1).
Seeyouatmidnight (16/1) would be another nightmare result which could cost the bookies a fortune.
Woman of the moment Bryony Frost is also expected to be popular aboard 33/1 shot Milansbar.
Nicola McGeady of Ladbrokes said: “This weekend will see betting go through the roof, with a whopping £150 million set to be gambled on Grand National day across the industry. It’s the day the nation goes to the bookies, making it the biggest betting event of the year.”
“Tiger Roll and Seeyouatmidnight are the two biggest losers in the book so we will be approaching the weekend with a mixture of fear and excitement.”
