Ladbrokes’ Dan Skelton discusses his Friday entries at Aintree

| 12.04.2018

Spiritofthegames – 1.45

He will run and brings in some good race form, coming fifth in the County Hurdle. I think around this track, a little further is perfect.

He’s got big race form, such as the Betfair Hurdle, the Lanzarote Hurdle, and so on. I think he’s got a chance and Bridget gets on well with him.

Three Musketeers – 1.45

He has had a funny season. I thought I’d have more done with him by now so it hasn’t gone quite to plan. I do think he’s waiting to win a nice race though.

He’s run well at the track before in a Grade One and I can see him being competitive.

I may sound repetitive but I feel I am coming to Aintree with plenty who I think have a chance.

Captain Chaos – 2.50

He has won around here and has three ones next to his name this year. He goes well in blinkers. He’s not top rated but you can make a case for him.

I believe he will run well and if he’s on a going day he will look over priced.

Roksana – 4.40

She was very good at Newbury and came out of the race so well. Three miles will really suit her; she’s got a very big engine and she’s just coming together now.

She doesn’t come here as favourite but getting 7lbs I think she will be really competitive.

Amoola Gold – 5.15

He is a very smart horse at home. He ran into a good second on his debut a year ago but we know others in this race will have fancier form than that.

Really, I want to go jumping with him but he will learn a lot from this and I think he can run well.
