England’s World Cup preparations really begin with Saturday’s friendly at home to Nigeria.

The Super Eagles have a squad packed with exciting young players and should provide a stern test.

England are 2/5 favourites to get the win, with Nigeria out at 7/1. The draw is 29/10.

Gareth Southgate will be looking for a dominant display to boost confidence ahead of the tournament. An England win to nil is Evens.

However, there are still question marks over who’ll start in goal and defence for the Three Lions. The unfamiliar defensive unit won’t be rock solid just yet. Both Teams to Score for 27/20.

And England have scored more than once in just one of their last six outings. England and Under 2.5 Goals is 19/10.

After ending the season with four goals in four games, Harry Kane is 5/6 to continue his good form with another goal. He’s also 12/5 to score first.

Kane and Sterling seem like certain starters for England in Russia. Southgate will likely choose between Dele Alli and Jesse Lingard to start alongside them. They’re both 9/5 to make their case with a goal here.

The hosts will need to be wary of Nigeria’s attacking threat. Former Watford striker Odion Ighalo is 10/3 to bag a goal, with Leicester City’s Kelechi Iheanacho 3/1.
