It’s a big day in Russia with Argentina staring down the barrel of a dramatic World Cup exit.

Jorge Sampaoli’s side require victory against Nigeria to have any chance of prolonging their stay at the tournament. We’ve previewed that match here.

Elsewhere, Denmark and Australia will fight it out for the final qualification spot in Group C. They take on France and Peru respectively.

Meanwhile, Iceland face Croatia in Rostov knowing that their maiden World Cup journey could be coming to a premature end.

We’ve previewed three of the day’s clashes below…

Denmark v France (3pm, ITV)

Conspiracy theories at the ready in Group C. France need a point to guarantee they top the group, with Denmark seeking a point to ensure qualification at the expense of Australia. The draw is available at 13/8.

Both sides have flattered to deceive so far and will be looking towards their respective talismans once again.

Christian Eriksen kept up his remarkable scoring record against Australia. The Tottenham Hotspur star now has 17 goals in his last 23 international appearances. He’s 7/2 to Score Anytime.

Olivier Giroud gave Les Bleus more of a focal point against Peru. He’s 9/5 to grab a goal of his own, with Antoine Griezmann considered the favourite at 7/4.

Our traders go 1/2 that there’s Under 2.5 Goals in the match and 5/1 about the clash finishing 1-1.

Australia v Peru (3pm, ITV4)

Peru may be going home but Australia still harbour hopes of going through. The Socceroos need three points against the South Americans to have any chance of extending their stay in Russia.

Bert van Marwijk’s side are 11/5 to pick up their first World Cup win since 2010. Peru can be backed at 5/4, with 23/10 about the draw.

These nations both like to attack. Six of Australia’s last eight finals matches have seen both teams find the back of the net. It’s 8/11 for that scenario to unfold again.

If there are goals, Mile Jedinak is likely to be amongst them.

The Aston Villa ace doubles up as the Aussie set-piece King. He’s netted each of their last five goals in competitive action and is 10/3 Anytime. It’s 10/1 for him to Score First.

Iceland v Croatia (7pm, BBC4)

These two picked up one win apiece when they met in UEFA Qualifying. However, it’s Croatia who have shown their quality in Russia.

Luka Modric and co. saw off Nigeria before humiliating Argentina to guarantee their place in the last-16. They’re 6/5 to make it a hat-trick of successes against 12/5 for Iceland.

If the World Cup debutants are to rescue their maiden campaign, they’re going to need something special from Gylfi Sigurdsson.

The Everton man is by far and away Iceland’s most important player and will be eager to make amends for his penalty miss against Nigeria. He’s 7/4 Anytime and 6/1 to Score First.

For Valtreni, Modric is key. The 32-year-old ran the show against Argentina and is sure to be equally as effective this evening. He’s 2/1 to double his tournament tally.
