Wednesday at the World Cup: Brazil and Switzerland to do the business?

Today sees four intriguing World Cup clashes, with two hotly contested groups reaching their climax.
In Group F, Germany look to secure a spot in the last 16 as they face 2002 semi-finalists South Korea. And we’ve got a full preview of that game right here.
But there’s also a string of other top ties, and we’ve got all the tips and info you need below – kicking off with the CONCACAF heavyweights against Janne Andersson’s men…
Mexico v Sweden (3pm, BBC Two)
A point will suffice for Mexico to top Group F – but they’ll want to maintain their momentum with a win. And El Tricolor should be too strong for a resilient but limited Sweden.
Juan Carlos Osorio’s men saw off Germany 1-0 before a pretty comfortable 2-1 defeat of South Korea. They should secure maximum points, with 5/4 for a Mexican win.
They’ve led at half-time and won in three of their last four games, and a repeat of HT/FT: Mexico/Mexico is 14/5. However, the Swedes tend to be good for a goal, and it’s 10/11 for Both Teams to Score in Ekaterinburg.
While Javier Hernandez is the Mexicans’ most recognisable star, Hirving Lozano has been the man in form of late. The PSV Eindhoven ace has scored five goals in his last 12 internationals, and is 23/10 to hit the net against Sweden.
Serbia v Brazil (7pm, ITV)
While Serbia are good in front of goal, they’ve struggled for results of late. Despite drawing a single blank in 14 games, they’ve lost four of their last 10 matches. Two of those have seen them blow a lead and end up with nothing.
A simple three points for Brazil is 6/10. Meanwhile, Tite’s men are 21/10 to Win with BTTS. As for Brazil to Win from Behind, that’s an 8/1 shot.
Philippe Coutinho netted a stunner in the opening game against Switzerland. He’s looking to score for the fourth Selecao game on the spin, and is 5/4 Anytime. However, Neymar is the favourite in the Anytime Goalscorer market at 8/13.
For the Eastern European outfit, their best chance of a goal lies with Aleksandar Mitrovic at 2/1.
Switzerland v Costa Rica (7pm, ITV4)
Costa Rica have proved tough to break down, but both Serbia and Brazil did so occasionally. That’s resulted in two losses, with Los Ticos failing to score and rarely looking remotely capable of doing so.
It’s 4/6 for a Swiss victory, while Vladimir Petkovic’s men are 6/4 to Win to Nil.
The European side have three players at even-money to score anytime, but their best threat could come from a man at far longer odds.
Ricardo Rodriguez has netted in three of his last eight caps, opening the scoring twice. He’s 5/1 to Score Anytime, and 12/1 to break the deadlock.
Meanwhile, we make it 6/1 for Switzerland to win 2-0.
