Tottenham Hotspur step up their pre-season preparations against Roma in the early hours of Thursday morning.

It’s their first appearance in this summer’s International Champions Cup, but they’ll be without many of their star players in San Diego.

Match odds

Roma will be much closer to full strength than the Premier League side here. We’ve got them as 23/20 favourites. It’s been an exciting summer for the Serie A side. They’ve brought in 13 new faces, including Javier Pastore and Justin Kluivert.

Spurs are at 2/1, with the draw going for 12/5. With so many regularly starters absent, it’s likely to be an unfamiliar Spurs XI on show.

These friendly fixtures tend to be open, with neither side fully drilled at this stage of the summer.

That means we should be in for a few goals. Both Sides to Score is 8/15, with Over 3.5 Goals priced at 8/5.

Goalscorer Odds

With Harry Kane still on holiday, Edin Dezko leads the goalscorer markets. He’s 7/2 to score first or 6/5 to get on the scoresheet Anytime.

Tricky wingers Cengiz Under and Kluivert are 2/1 and 21/10 to score respectively.

Fernando Llorente is set to lead the line for Spurs. The veteran will want to impress after a disappointing first season in North London. He’s 17/10 to hit the back of the net.

Heung-Min Son could be one to watch at 17/10 Anytime.

Erik Lamela will be keen to force his way into the starting line-up too. He’s a 13/5 shot to get a goal.
