AFC Wimbledon v West Ham tips: Pellegrini to grab his first Hammers win?

West Ham travel south of the river to take on Wimbledon tonight in the Carabao Cup.
The Irons are pointless from their first three Premier League games of the new season.
However, a match against League One Wimbledon could provide the spark Manuel Pellegrini needs to kick-start the campaign.
Match odds
This will be the first meeting between the two clubs since AFC Wimbledon’s formation in 2002.
West Ham are 4/7 to go back to East London with the win. Neal Ardley’s men are 5/1 to progress and pick up another scalp after beating Portsmouth in the last round.
The draw is at 29/10.
Pellegrini may make some changes but will want to develop some winning momentum before hosting Wolves on Saturday. They’re 10/1 to win 3-0 at Kingsmeadow.
Talking Tactics
Marco Arnautovic netted in Saturday’s defeat to the Gunners but won’t be risked after being forced off with a muscular injury.
The Hammers could give new signing Lucas Perez his first start of the campaign at the sharp end of the attack.
A 4-3-3 formation could see Reece Oxford return in defence and Josh Cullen sit alongside Declan Rice in midfield.
Ardley said in many ways the game’s a ‘free hit’ for his side. James Hanson and Joe Pigott could well lead the Wombles line-up, with a fit-again Kwesi Appiah appearing from the bench.
Goalscorer Odds
With Arnautovic seemingly out of the match, Perez will be The Hammers main goal threat. The former Arsenal man 9/2 to score two or more.
Javier Hernandez may also get some game time. The Mexican forward is 7/2 to grab the first goal.
Robert Snodgrass has come back into contention this season. The Scottish midfielder is 21/10 to notch Anytime.
This would be a big scalp for The Dons and Appiah is 3/1 to bag Anytime.
Pigott scored against Sunderland last time out and is 3/1 to do so again.
