There’s plenty of racing to enjoy on ITV this Saturday, wrapping up with the Ayr Gold Cup.

You’ll be able to enjoy eight races live from Ayr and Newbury in all. And we’ve got tips for each of them right here…

NAP – Pivione – 1.45 Newbury

Pivione will be looking to follow up his win at York last month with another victory here, albeit over a slightly shorter distance.

The Andrew Balding-trained gelding is ranked just behind Mountain Angel, but there’s a sense his York run is the start of things to come.

Oisin Murphy returns to ride the four-year-old. He’s in good form himself, having racked up 13 wins over the past fortnight.

NB – Young Rascal – 2.20 Newbury

Mirage Dancer and Desert Encounter lead the betting, but William Haggas’ three-year-old has already won over course and distance this year.

And with Jim Crowley in the saddle, Young Rascal will be right in contention if he can get close to his Chester Vase form.

The colt hasn’t run since his disappointing showing in the Derby. His connections will have made sure he’s raring to go here.

Lively Longshot – Flying Pursuit – 3.50 Ayr

Does Gold Cup glory beckon for Tim Easterby’s runner?

The recent weather means the conditions will suit him perfectly. He’s won four of his last six races on soft or heavy ground.

Being drawn at number 3 gives the chestnut gelding the chance to get on the inside too. With course and distance wins in the past, Flying Pursuit could come up trumps here.

1.45 Newbury – Pivione (NB)

2.00 Ayr – Borodin

2.20 Newbury – Young Rascal (NAP)

2.40 Ayr – Quick Look

2.55 Newbury – Kessaar

3.15 Ayr – Queen of Bermuda

3.30 Newbury – Judicial

3.50 Ayr – Flying Pursuit (Lively Longshot)
