Liverpool most popular Champions League pick with punters

Before the Champions League group stage kicks off, our traders have revealed that Liverpool are the most popular side with punters to go all the way.
The Reds have been the subject of 40% of all bets so far on the outright winner. Jurgen Klopp’s side are eighth in the betting at 11/1, but that isn’t putting bettors off.
Juventus are the second-most popular pick following the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo.
Manchester City are 9/2 favourites to win the competition for the first time. The Premier League champions round out the top three.
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “Plenty of punters clearly believe Liverpool can go all the way this season and while City are clear favourites, we’ve already had to trim odds on the Reds dominating Europe.”
