Three players Man City must watch out for against Lyon

Manchester City face Lyon in the opening game of their Champions League campaign.
The French side are outsiders to take anything from the game and are 14/1 to grab a surprise win.
Lyon’s president has even Jean Michel-Aulas has gone as far to say he ‘doesn’t care about the result’ to French news outlet L’Equipe.
But they will surely intend to cause some problems for Pep Guardiola’s side.
In that case we have a look at some of the names to watch out for and who could haunt City at the Etihad…
Memphis Depay
The former Manchester United forward will be champing at the bit to leave his mark on this game.
Depay has found electric form since his move in 2017. The Dutch striker bagged 19 goals and 13 assists in Ligue 1 last season as Lyon finished in third.
He could come into the starting line-up to replace Bertrand Traore and is 3/1 to bag Anytime.
A maverick both on and off the pitch, City’s defence will have to be on their toes.
Moussa Dembele
Despite attracting many suitors in the past couple of seasons it was Lyon who secured the Frenchman’s services in the dying embers of the summer transfer window.
Dembele made his first start for his new club in the draw against Caen at the weekend and could well keep his place for this one.
In his two full seasons at Celtic he notched 48 goals in all competitions, which included a brace against City in this competition.
He will be a player Guardiola’s knows a lot about but not necessarily a man they can stop.
Nabil Fekir
Fekir could well have been turning out in the red of Liverpool this season. The Lyon captain’s move to Anfield was regarded as a formality by many.
But the World Cup winner has stayed and is charged with gluing Lyon’s exciting attack together.
The 25-year-old grabbed his first goal of the season last weekend and is 10/3 Anytime to add to his tally here.
He may not be at Lyon for much longer, but perhaps just long enough to be the scourge of City.
An honourable mention should also be given to exciting young full back Ferland Mendy. The 23-year-old could cause problems raiding down the left flank.
