Theresa May set to win no-confidence vote
Published:Theresa May looks set to battle on as Prime Minister and win any no-confidence vote, according to our latest odds.
There’s been plenty of talk of backbenchers calling a no-confidence vote in May as a result of Brexit negotiations.
That doesn’t mean her position is secure long-term though, with Boris Johnson, Dominic Raab, Sajid Javid and Michael Gove all at 8s to replace her as Tory leader.
Amber Rudd has also been slashed from 50/1 to 20/1 after returning to the cabinet.
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “The next Conservative leader market looks like being one of the most unpredictable political betting events of all time, but the odds suggest May isn’t likely to be going anywhere just yet.”
