Zinedine Zidane favourite for permanent Man United job

Zinedine Zidane is the early favourite to become Manchester United’s next permanent manager.
The sacking of Jose Mourinho has got everyone talking about a new era at Old Trafford.
As it stands, Zidane is 11/10 to be next United manager, after leading Real Madrid to three-successive Champions League titles.
Others mentioned include Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino at 4/1, former Chelsea boss Antonio Conte at 6/1 and ex-United defender Laurent Blanc coming in at 10’s.
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “It’s hardly a surprise to see Jose sent packing and the early signs point towards an imminent stint in the United dugout for Zidane.”
It’s likely chief executive Ed Woodward will appoint a temporary solution until the end of the season.
