Tottenham v Arsenal Tips: Harry to give Gunners a Kaning in NLD?

Harry Kane - England

One of English football’s fiercest rivalries reignites at Wembley, as Tottenham Hotspur host Arsenal in the Premier League.

It’s been a bleak week for those of a Spurs persuasion. Defeats at Burnley and Chelsea have killed their title challenge. Now it’s about making sure the top four doesn’t slip.

As for Arsenal, they’re also looking to crack those Champions League spots. So can Spurs bounce back or will the Gunners deliver more gloom?

Match Odds

It’s hard to look past Mauricio Pochettino’s men on home soil. They’ve won 12 of their last 15 at Wembley. And Arsenal came home empty-handed from the last two clashes here.

It’s 21/20 for a Tottenham win. Victory for Unai Emery’s side is out at 12/5, with the Draw a fraction longer at 13/5.

Spurs have enjoyed five 3-1 scorelines in their favour this term. Fancy the same again? That’s 14/1.

Meanwhile, we go 4/5 for Over 1.5 Second-Half Goals, with both sides scoring freely after the break at present.

Talking Tactics

One up top just didn’t work for Spurs at Stamford Bridge. A return to 4-3-1-2 looks likely here, with a pairing of Harry Kane and Son Heung-min as the strike duo.

Further back, Jan Vertonghen should return after a slight knock saw him miss the short trip to Chelsea. Meanwhile, another poor display from Kieran Trippier could see him ousted by Serge Aurier.

The visitors went three at the back for the 5-1 win over AFC Bournemouth. But it’s fair to say Spurs should offer a bigger attacking threat than the Cherries. So expect a return to four in defence for Emery’s side.

Up top, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is likely to lead the charge – with a duo of Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Mesut Ozil tucked in behind him.

Goalscorer Odds

Harry Kane returned from injury with a bang, netting against Burnley on his return. He’s notched eight goals in 10 NLD outings. We go 21/20 that he strikes Anytime, while the 25-year-old is 16/5 to be First Goalscorer.

His strike partner Son prefers to leave it late. Three of his last four goals have come in the final 15 minutes, and the man from Chuncheon is 7/2 as Last Goalscorer.

For the visitors, Auba will be looking to add to his tally of 16 Prem goals this season. The Gabonese goal-grabber is 13/8 to notch at Wembley.
