I go to Wexford tomorrow where I will ride Shar Whats Therush (4.15). He has been knocking on the door on his last few runs. He has been running consistently well without winning.

He steps back up to three miles having gone two-and-a-half the last day.

I don’t think it will be a problem for him. I suppose Declan Queally’s Cloudy Morning looks the one to beat having won around here over fences off a mark of 107 and Declan’s horses are in great form.

That said, I would be very disappointed if we weren’t there or thereabouts.

I’m at Sligo on Sunday where I ride Stay Humble (3.25) for Willie Mullins. He has been an expensive horse to follow since he won his maiden around here over three miles.

He drops back in trip to two-and-a-half-miles here. It’s not an outstanding race but he has been a frustrating horse.

He will definitely have to recapture some of his best form to win it but it’s a track he’s won at before and that might bring about a little bit of improvement.

My last ride is on The Echo Boy (3.55) for Dermot McLoughlin in a maiden hurdle. He’s had three nice runs over hurdles. Jessica Harrington’s Hotel Du Nord looks the horse to beat on ratings and should be good enough.

I wouldn’t be surprised if my horse can out run his odds and definitely be in the first three if not anything better.

Paul.
