Arsene Wenger odds-on to replace Gattuso as next AC Milan manager

Arsene Wenger is the odds-on favourite to replace Gennaro Gattuso as the next AC Milan manager, according to our traders.

The ex-Arsenal boss has been heavily linked with a move to the San Siro in the last 48 hours, and we now make it just a 1/3 shot that he joins Ivan Gazidis at the Serie A club.

That makes Milan comfortably his next most likely destination. The French National Team job comes next at 6/1, ahead of Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid at 8/1 apiece.

Elsewhere, it’s 16/1 for Wenger to take the reins at Everton or Juventus, with 16/1 also saying he replaces Gareth Southgate as England boss.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “Wenger’s availability is bad news for Gattuso at Milan. That, coupled with Gazidis’ relationship with the Frenchman means it’s now more likely than ever that Wenger will take over at the San Siro.”
