It means he's closed the gap on L'Homme Presse, whose odds have drifted from 6/4 to 7/4, and Pic D'orhy (7/4), with every other name now priced at 8/1 or bigger to cause an upset.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: "A flurry of bets have shaken up this weekend's Ascot Chase betting and Corbetts Cross is now firmly among the frontrunners... we wouldn't be surprised to see him leapfrog L'Homme Presse and Pic D'orhy in the next few days."
