ATP Tour Finals: Djokovic to deliver while Cilic is on the charge

With each of my three tips from Tuesday’s ATP Tour Finals matches nailed, I’m in confident mood here with world no.1 Novak Djokovic in action and Marin Cilic also on course for a comfortable win against Tomas Berdych.

The eastern European duo could well deliver this Wednesday, as part of a trio of tips that could see you tuning in to BBC Two or Sky Sports 3 and potentially cashing-in in the process.

Marin Cilic to beat Tomas Berdych @ 8/13

The US Open champion has really upped his game in recent weeks, with Novak Djokovic’s victory last time out the first defeat in five for the Croatian, who rounded off his best season ever in some style by winning the Kremlin Cup last month.

Having beaten Tomas Berdych in three of their last four meetings, Cilic will be confident of the win here, particularly after seeing the way the Czech surrendered meekly to Stanislas Wawrinka earlier this week.

One of the highlights of Cilic’s breakthrough season has been the way he has been able to swat aside opponents who once caused him troubled – a sign perhaps that the 26-year-old has come of age.

Take Berdych, for instance – back at the start of the year in Rotterdam the Czech star beat Cilic, but when the pair met later at Wimbledon and the US Open Cilic shone, winning 3-0 both times and after his opponent’s 2-0 loss to Wawrinka we think the Croat could claim another straight sets win here.

Novak Djokovic to beat Stan Wawrinka 2-0 @ 1/2

It’s increasingly difficult to find any sort of value when it comes to betting on Novak Djokovic and though the Serb lost his last meeting with Wawrinka at the Australian Open, he’s had almost a year to brood over that defeat and should be raring to go for this one.

Djokovic has won nine of his last 10 matches in straight sets and will be expected to do the same against his Swiss opponent, having done exactly that when the two players met at this very tournament this time last year.
