Ousmane Demeble is no longer the sole favourite in the latest 2025 Ballon d'Or winner odds released by Ladbrokes following several impressive Lamine Yamal performances.

Heading into the Champions League semi-final second-legs, Yamal and Raphinha were the two favourites to win the Ballon d'Or in October, but Dembele overtook both after Barcelona were knocked out of the competition and PSG went through to the final.

However, after beating Real Madrid in the El Classico and starring in the league as Barcelona won La Liga once again, Yamal has now been priced as the joint-favourite, with Dembele to win the Ballon d'Or.

Salah, the heavy favourite to be named PFA Player of the Year, is viewed by the bookies as the fourth-favourite to win the prestigious trophy come the end of the year, behind Yamal, Raphinha and Dembele.

Considering the fantastic campaign Salah had in the Premier League with the new champions Liverpool, it's not hard to see why.

Rodri pipped Vinicius to the post and won the 2024 Ballon d'Or at the ceremony on October 28, and the latest odds suggest the Real Madrid man is going to miss out on the award again this year.

In fact, Vini isn't even in the top 10 favourites to win the Ballon d'Or this season, with Raphinha, Dembele, Yamal, Salah, Lautaro Martinez, Pedri, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Robert Lewandowski, Kylian Mbappe and Virgil van Dijk all more likely.

With PSG in the Champions League (the French club actually at the head of the betting), Dembele's chances of winning the competition and the Ballon d'Or are only growing.

Below are the outsiders to win this year's Ballon d'Or, after the 10 favourites. The names below include the likes of Declan Rice, Jude Bellingham and arguably the greatest player of all time, Lionel Messi.

Bukayo Saka of Arsenal is also priced with the same odds as Vinicius Jr, and that's surprising considering how little football the winger has been able to play this year due to injury.

With the longest odds of winning this year's Ballon d'Or is Scott McTominay, but the fact that he's even in the conversation is a testament to how well the former Man United man has done since joining Napoli last summer.

Given that he's one of the favourites for the Ballon d'Or, it's not surprising that Salah is also the favourite to win the Golden Boot this year, having scored 28 Premier League goals in his opening 36 outings for his club in domestic league action.

Salah isn't only in the race for the Ballon d'Or, but he also leads the market with regards to the PFA Player of the Year odds, as mentioned previously, with the Liverpool winger the heavy favourite to win that award come the end of the season.
