Barcelona 10/3 to complete second treble in three years

Ladbrokes offer odds of 10/3 that Barcelona will win the treble this season and Andres Iniesta knows that the club will have to remain on their toes to complete this feat.

Barcelona are well on course to win La Liga as they have only dropped five points in their opening 22 games to have built up a seven-point lead over Real Madrid.

The Catalan giants recently broke the La Liga record when winning a 16th game in a row and they are 1/12 to win the title.

Barcelona have also made comfortable progress through the Copa del Rey as they await a clash with Real Madrid in the final.

It is 8/15 that Barcelona win the final in April, with Real Madrid 11/8 to upset their quest to win a second treble in three seasons.

No doubt the biggest obstacle standing in the way of a treble is victory in the Champions League, where they have already safely negotiated their way through the group stages.

Arsenal await next in the second round and with Real Madrid, Inter Milan and Chelsea among the big guns still in contention, victory is by no means certain.

Barcelona’s betting odds are currently 7/4 to win the Champions League, while they are 1/5 to qualify for the quarter finals by beating Arsenal over two legs.

Although Barcelona’s style seems to be paying dividends, midfield maestro Iniesta knows the team will have to be versatile if they want to win the three trophies.

He told Catalonia’s number one television station TV3: “We know that getting another treble will be very difficult.

“Our rivals know us more and we face difficulties. So, we must find new ways to play our game.”
