Benjamin Sesko next club odds: Arsenal have opened talks

The latest Benjamin Sesko next club odds suggest that Arsenal are the clear favourites for the player, supported by the fact that they've reportedly opened talks with RB Leipzig over a summer transfer.

The Gunners are not only the favourites to sign Viktor Gyokeres this summer, but also leading the way when it comes to the club most likely to sign Sesko this summer.

The RB Leipzig man has a release clause worth less than £70m, according to reports, but the German side are keen enough for a sale that they'd be willing to accept the fee in instalments if a club pays £75m.

As noted, Arsenal are the odds-on favourites to sign Sesko this summer, but Liverpool are also in the conversation if the latest odds are to be believed.

The Gunners have opened talks with the relevant parties to sign Sesko this summer, seemingly suggesting he's top of their list.

Fabrizio Romano posted: "Understand Arsenal have started moving initial concrete talks for Benjamin Šeško deal. He’s always been high on recruitment team, management, Mikel Arteta list with attempts to get deal done rejected by Leipzig in May 2024 and January…now Šeško will leave. Arsenal on it."

Bayern Munich are set to miss out on Florian Wirtz to Liverpool, abut it seems like they're going to be interested in signing Sesko this summer, with the German club in the top four favourites alongside Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea.

Vincent Kompany's side are priced at 12/1 to sign Sesko this summer, with the German giants clearly viewing the Slovenian striker as a potential heir to Harry Kane's throne.

Man United are also looking at Sesko, as has been the case for quite a few years now, but the Red Devils are instead set to sign Matheus Cunha from Wolves.

The latest Sesko next club odds also have Liverpool in the conversation, but a defender seems to be the priority for the Reds, with Arne Slot's side expected complete a move for Milos Kerkez after securing the services of Jeremie Frimpong already.

If they do sign a striker, Liverpool are expected to move for Alexander Isak rather than Sesko, potentially giving Arsenal and other interested clubs a less fierce run at the striker.

While they're most certainly outsiders in the race to sign Sesko, could Barcelona be about to replace Robert Lewandowski with the RB Leipzig man?

The latest odds have Hansi Flick's side at 16/1 to sign Sesko this summer, potentially replacing Lewandowski, who they bought from the Bundesliga, with another striker from a German club.

The side have longer odds are Newcastle, but interest in Sesko from the Geordies' side is only expected to become serious if Isak does move on to a bigger club.

With even shorter odds than that are Manchester City, but given they've got both Erling Haaland and Omar Marmoush and need to strengthen in other areas, a move for Sesko feels excessive.
